One day in Japan #10 – Kimono galore

Marqueur de la majorité : le Seijun no hi

My camera had been staying at home for quite some time now and I was looking for a reason to bring it out once more. And matsuri is always worth it. The last time I did so was for the Sanma Matsuri in Ueno last year. So I headed of the Meiji Shrine in Harajuku. I was not their for the biggest event but it was still worth it.

It sometimes felt weird to take pictures of random people during what was basically a private celebration but some were really open with the idea and were swarmed by photographers. Pictures were taken with authorisation.

Still some room for improvement but it’s getting better.
